For grapplers and fighters, maintaining the proper stance can be the difference between staying vertical and ending up horizontal. An opponent can swiftly take down a fighter whose feet are too far apart, too close together, or improperly positioned. Not only that, but the fighter who can assume a proper position and maintain it throughout the match has the solid foundation from which to deliver explosive strikes and counter the opponent?s attacks. Stroops? ingeniously designed Perfect Stance uses the comfort of Slastix technology to provide the ultimate tool for training fighters to maintain proper stance throughout the match.

How It Works: Put on the two padded ankle straps so that they fit snugly but comfortably around each ankle with the fabric loops facing inward. Connect the Slastix to the small fabric loops of the ankle straps. Wearing the Perfect Stance, your goal is to maintain some tension on the Slastix as you practice footwork, stand-ups, spar, or takedowns. Maintaining resistance on the Slastix band forces you to widen your stance and properly elevate your knees while in motion. The longer you train with it, the more perfect your stance becomes.
